1) .90-1 kg of extra lean ground chicken or lean ground beef (if you are grilling or throwing on the barbeque then use regular ground beef as most of the fat drips off)
2) 1/2 cup of rice bread crumbs (i use the sticklings brand) (omit this if you are using beef)
3)1 tablespoon of garlic
4)1 chopped medium onion
5)1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
6)1.5 to 2 teaspoons of salt
7) 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger powder
8)1 tablespoon oil (omit this if you are using beef)
9)1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder
10)1/2 teaspoon of paprika powder (you can use chilli powder if you want it spicy)
11) 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
12) 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder (optional: this will give it a little bit of a Moroccan flavour)
13) 1/4 teaspoon of chilli powder if you wish to make these spicy. I don't use chilli powder.
14) 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Makes about 22-24 chicken kebabs
